Google and the like have snaffled their advertising revenue, and social media has taken over the market for amusing nonsense that truly rotten newspapers - like the Murdoch-owned "Sun" in the UK - used to feed on.
Zero Hedge doesn't sell amusing nonsense - it specialises in the kind of right-wing nonsense that appeals to lunatics like Cursitor Doom who like their nonsense to be truly fatuous.
