IME, clients (bosses?) are pretty clueless about device capabilities,
software efforts, etc. They pick up on some buzz words that happen
to be /en vogue/ and throw them around as if they had real meaning
in the context used.
I had a client ask me if I could implement his product in a *PIC*
(because THAT was /en vogue/). When I looked at the design, it
was all RF signal processing. With *detailed* knowledge of his
domain, I *might* have been able to come up with an approach
that could *use* a PIC. But, I surely wasn't going to be able to
implement his *existing* design in one!
Agile, Python, Perl, PIC, ARM, bananafudgesundae... whatever
they think is meaningful, today...
