Since it needs power, why not go PoE and dump the RF?
They are intended for sites with no connection and big distances from nodes. The units being far away (about 1Km) may be powered by some solar panel and battery, if required.
Remember that LoRa is the radio technology used for medium distance range (ESP-NOW for shorter distances)
