There are many reasons why email may not deliver.
Had you emailed these people before?

I haven't been able to contact anyone who uses gmail or google mail for
a couple of years now. Apparently they are demanding some
identification which my e-mailer doesn't give, so they just delete my
e-mail without explanation. I am not going to change my e-mailer to
suit them, expecially if it gives them information I have no control
over.
Currently i have to send e-mails to gmail users by firat posting them
to another computer and then forwarding them from there.
I just emailed myself from one account using gmail, sent using postfix, to another account on gmail, using thunderbird internal system. No problem.
Of course, if your mailer does not support oauth2 (mine doesn't), you have to use application passwords (I do).
