It has been a long time since I had or gave someone else a Jump that I had to
try remembering the procedure.

Here is what came to My mind:
1 attach a Red clamp to the Positive post of the good battery.
2 put the other Red clamp on the Positive post of the battery that needs the
jump.
3 put a Black clamp on the battery that needs the jump.
4 put the other Black clamp on a piece of bare metal on your car that is away
from the battery (in case your battery explodes).
