The magnet has to switch ILS trough the plastic tank.
We found four ILS for level information. If the cpu doesn't get level information the owen is not working. End of game.
We make a test outside of the oven to active ILS with a magnet, it's OK.

 Assuming it would not melt the float, heating the float would vaporize
the water and it would disperse throught the leak, but if that's not a
good idea, drilling another bigger hole in the float would allow it to
drain.   I assume there is water in there now or there would be no
likely reason to replace it.
 

repaired. PC-70 would work but would make the float heavier.  Maybe that
would only change the water level slightly, and since it refills
automatically, I suppose, it wouldn't matter if it were a liittle lower.
And it wouldn't matter if it were higher as long as it didn't overflow.
Perhaps it could not overflow even if it went to the top.
