I’d never heard of her, which surprises me. The German Wikipedia article
comments on the pronunciation of her surname:

»Anna Jameson (spr. dschehms'n), [..] «

So, like the whiskey.

She knew Ada Lovelace fairly well, so the sort of historical figure that Irish
newspaper tend to cover on and off, again, surprising me that I’ve never heard
of her.
