So I'd like to ask aueers, especially those who are or have ever
worked in an academic environment for views on sentences like the
following:
"This chapter locates the book conceptually and methodologically. It
considers..."
<-------- Awful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think something like the following might be less vague and nebulous:
"In this chapter I will set out the conceptual framework and
methodology used in this study. I will consider..."
Which do you prefer? Any other suggestions?
------------- The latter is almost as bad... Probably worse.
