There's a huge amount of discussion right now going on in Telegram channels about reasons for which Sonni Moslems didn't lift a finger to help the Sonni Ghazans, while all the resistance was made by the only four Shiite Moslem nations.
This is indeed very telling :)
The Islam when it was created, at the time of Mohammad's death, still wouldn't and couldn't respond to newer critical situations that would only come later in the future. That's why Mohammad, in his last annual sermon, told others to keep working on it and not make themselves satisfied with what it was on that today.
Sonnis stopped working at it, preferring to preserve it as it was on that day. Shiites, never stopped working at it. And this is the general reason behind why only the Shiite nations showed resistance to harm delivered to a Sonni nation that Ghaza is.
There are 57 Islamic nations. 53 of them Sonni. 4 Shiite. And only 4 Shiite nations showed active resistance to harm delivered on Moslems.
