Bengali, and I don't think bertietaylor would claim that.
Arindam indeed translated all Shakespeare's sonnets to Bengali. Also
poetic works by Tennyson, Browning, Shelley... as Bengali is a superior
literary language, being derived from Sanskrit, his translation of the
English greats are sublime, supreme poetry. They surpass his lyrics,
wonderful as they are.
