- My day was made today when I read the insurance companies had removed the obligation to pay for fire damage to houses in California, just three months back :)
I tried to find whether they had reduced the monthly premium as a result, but couldn't find it. I bet they kept it intact :-)
So not knowing shit about this change, Californians obediently paid them till this LA thing happened to them. Even after the fact, they weren't told about that change yet! Hahahhahh :-) Only today, as far as I know, the truth of it came out that these homes didn't have fire damage included in their house insurance as of September 2024.
This is how billionaires treat the Sheep. Be it the Angelenos, or no Angelenos.
Now, why it would make my day. The city, I suspect, did not do as thoroughly as before to prevent it knowing damn well that insurance billionaires won't be on their asses..
So now, it began to make sense for me. And only this, the making sense of it, made my day today :)
- FDA at last banned the red food coloring after years of scientists telling them it is a carcinogen. Gradually, you won't see any more red stuff in cakes and candies. Be mindful of strangely lowered prices for them in stores. Just a warning for you, as I don't eat anything processed at all, other than a rare cup of tea or coffee, let alone a shiny red colored pile of goo on top of disgusting cakes.
- Iran's treaty with Russia got signed today. I think, now, Iran may be able to send troops to help Russia, and vice versa!
Eat your hearts out, you losers :)
Let's see what other nations in the region will do about it. If you ask me, they'll begin thinking about joining it. It works like a "NATO" for Iran and Russia.
Americans have tried to win over Armenia, and they signed some funky deal recently about it too. But I couldn't find much substance to it. It is more of a propaganda thing than real economic and military cooperation.
Personally, I think more likely Armenia will also join this treaty. The recent thing with Americans looked bogus. Probably just a one time arms purchase or something.
Time for a bit of quality time with cats around the wood stove, then hitting the sack :)
Fuck you losers!
