My previous posts was about China, the PRC, not the ROC. (By the way,
Taiwan as a legitimate politic entity does not exist, its official name
is ROC.)
The PRC is democratic because it enables and empowers the people work
hard for themselves and for the nation.
Procedurally, it is called democratic centralism. And of course, the
Chinese people themselves considered: 1) democracy is important and 2)
China is democratic according polls.
Bloomberg headline read "China Is More Democratic Than America, Say the
People. "
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2020-06-26/which-nations-are-democracies-some-citizens-might-disagreeThe above article reported the 2020 poll. There had been a similar poll
looking the issue. This second poll also include the ROC and asked some
the questions. Again, the PRC was considered democratic by the Chinese
people.
