That’s why the Genocide Convention says “... intent to destroy, in whole
or in part”. Israel is certainly quite vigorously trying to do that. The
fact that it won’t succeed is by the by: the massive human suffering it is
causing along the way still has to stop.
Yes, the convention consider it a crime to put programs in place which
are intentded to destroy, in whole or in part. The argument that
there is no genocide because there aren't fewer Palestinians yet is an
odd one. Does the international community have to wait until a
program of genocide is completed before they can condemn?
