In Memory of His Holiness Pope Francis (1936–2025)
With profound respect, heartfelt gratitude, and in eternal remembrance
of his life dedicated to compassion, dignity, and the sanctity of human
life, the International Longevity Institute #ForeverYoung formally
nominates His Holiness Pope Francis as the Saint Patron of the
Institute.
Pope Francis, who peacefully departed on April 21, 2025, was not only a
shepherd of faith but also a tireless advocate for the most vulnerable,
for peace, and for the care of creation — including the gift of human
health and longevity. His words and example inspired countless global
efforts to uphold the quality of life, intergenerational solidarity, and
the moral imperative to safeguard the dignity of every human being
throughout the entire lifespan.
In recognition of his unwavering moral leadership, spiritual guidance,
and his inclusive vision of a more compassionate and sustainable world,
we declare Pope Francis the eternal spiritual patron of the
International Longevity Institute #ForeverYoung, a global initiative
devoted to the advancement of life sciences, preventive health, and the
humane ethics of aging and longevity.
As Saint Patron, his memory will continue to guide our mission:
To extend healthspan and well-being for future generations.
To promote ethical, human-centered approaches to medical innovation.
To foster a culture of respect, wisdom, and care for elders and youth
alike.
May his legacy inspire scientists, caregivers, leaders, and all humanity
to pursue not only a longer life — but a more meaningful, just, and
compassionate one.
