Paralotnia nie spada raczej na skutek awarii silnika. Po prostu zamienia
się w paralotnię bez napędu i tyle. Wydaje mi się, ze to zły kierunek
myślenia.

 
Dokładnie.
Bez napędu motoparalotnia sobie normalnie leci, lotem opadającym,
więc warto miec teren nadający się do lądowania poniżej.
 

Powinien być obowiązek projektowania paralotni
z certyfikatem Fail-Safe
czyli, że wyląduje bezpiecznie nawet gdy pilot zasłabnie.

 
Takiego wymogu chyba nie ma.
 
Można za to wprowadzić obowiązkowe badania lekarskie :-)
 
P.S. są dość bezpieczne, nawet jak pilot nieprzytomny a warunki
turbulentne
