d The first traffic light in Moscow was installed at
the end of 1930 at the corner of Petrovka and Kuznetsky Most streets.
Before that, traffic there was regulated by a semaphore (in the 2nd
photo).
Currently, there are officially more than 60 thousand traffic lights
in the capital.
