My biggest regret within a day after making the bet was to not set a time limit. It was just - will russia invade or not?
Maybe you understand, I was sitting there in a bad spot, it takes millennia to prove a not. I think it was two weeks after the bet that Putin moved in and it was big news.
Not necessarily get it in writing, but set a reasonable framework on both sides of the bet.
I'm still curious why Putin flopped about like a goldfish on the border for such a long time before actually taking action.
If he had retreated back to the village, the guy would have just said, "he went back for his torch." Do you see what I mean? It's indefinite, waiting for war.
If I had said two weeks maybe I should have taken the original bet of one hundred dollars.
I wasn't really on top of my shit. I was behind the curve so to speak. Evidently some people were fooled by Putin's ruse at the border for a couple weeks or a month.
I gave him two envelopes at two different times, one with $10 and the other with $15.
