Texas given up on the switch scam?

Texas had bent over for the obfuscation and denial creationist switch scam back in 2010, but had to have the bait and switch run on them again in 2013 when they tried to use the switch scam to teach ID in their public schools.
They are now trying a more direct approach that seems to be as unconstitutional as Oklahoma's use of the Bible in public schools as a text book, and last month Arkansas' Trumpy Governor (she claims that Trump was chosen by Jesus) signed similar 10 commandment legislation when I was out on the road.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them.

Honor thy father and thy mother.

Thou shalt not steal.

What is stupid is how many of the commandments that Christians routinely break.
They want to post an image of the 10 commandments in every classroom.

A graven image is a representation of a god used as an object of worship.
Just think of all the crosses up around so many churches and cathedrals.   What do they think that they are doing by making an image of the 10 commandments and placing them in every classroom?  Just think of what they did when they would erect carvings of the 10 commandments outside of courtrooms and state houses.

Just think what the ID scam has been doing for around 30 years, and scientific creationism did for decades before that.  ID and scientific creationism broke both commandments.  They both coveted the mantle of science and stole it to misuse for their own "equal time" purposes.  ID perps like Nelson never wanted to accomplish any real ID science.  They were only in on the scam for science denial.
The biggest zinger that the ID perps have lied about is "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."  Just think of how many times the ID perps have claimed that their intelligent designer does not have to be the god of the bible?  How is that not breaking the first commandment when they know that they are doing what they do for religious reasons.  The god that designed all the sea creatures within a 25 million year period over half a billion years ago is obviously not the Biblical god, and yet Meyer claims that he has evidence that such a designer did those things.
Nelson just claims that they never had the ID science, but that they were just working on exalting a nonbiblical designer.
