https://etda.libraries.psu.edu/files/final_submissions/3239I was trying to see if there was anything on Bryan Leonard the IDiot that supposedly wrote a pro ID PhD thesis but never seems to have completed his degree.
I found this Education PhD thesis on second Kansas 2005 when the Kansas creationists wanted to implement the obfuscation and denial switch scam (supposedly having nothing to do with intelligent design) but tried to use intelligent design in order to justify their stupidity. The ID perps had already run the bait and switch on the Kansas creationist rubes, but they couldn't give up on supporting their religious beliefs and bent over for the switch scam that the ID perps had given to them instead of any creation/ID science. They held the infamous creationist kangaroo court as an attempt to justify the switch scam junk.
John Calvert (founder of the ID Network) was involved in the ID scam kangaroo court defense, and is quoted as claiming that anyone that believes in evolution is an atheist. Sort of Glenn's definition of atheist being anyone that doesn't believe in the same god that they believe in. Behe is an atheist to Calvert. Behe testified at the Kangaroo court prepping for his Dover debacle, and is noted to not be an advocate of separating science and religion (page 111). Bryan Leonard participated, and that participation got some people to start to question what kind of legitimate PhD these Leonard might have put together. His participation in Kansas k2005 is not included in this thesis (The author may have been unable to interview him). Leonard's thesis wasn't promising because Leonard was supposedly responsible for writing the Ohio model switch scam lesson plan, and his draft included some "errors" including using Wells' "no moths on tree trunk" lie that he obviously got out of Wells' ID scam book (Icons of Evolution).
As a side note it looks like Bryan Leonard never attempted to defend his thesis. I couldn't find any evidence that he ever got his degree. If it was at all legitimate the Discovery Institute should have published it. They could have used it for their ID scam journal.
