https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/oklahoma-ryan-walters-bible-taught-in-school-rcna159307Oklahoma had the bait and switch run on them by the ID perps at least twice and both times they would not bend over for the switch scam and dropped the issue. They really wanted to teach Biblical creationism in the public schools, but they didn't like the obfuscation and denial switch scam because you have to teach the kids too much science in order for them to know what to deny. Most IDiotic creationist rubes that wanted to teach ID dropped the issue when the bait and switch went down on them. The ID perps would tell them that the switch scam had nothing to do with ID, and nearly all IDiots did not bend over for the switch scam. Louisiana and Texas may be the only states that adopted the obfuscation and denial switch scam at the state level. West Virginia just passed a bill that supposedly would allow teaching intelligent design in their classrooms, but they were too dishonest about the effort to say what they wanted to be taught. The Bills author admitted that the bill was supposed to allow teaching intelligent design, so like the Dover IDiots, the West Virginia IDiots were so clueless that they didn't know that the ID perps have never had any ID science worth teaching, and obviously were clueless about the bait and switch scam that has gone down every single time any legislator or school board has wanted to teach ID. The ID perps may not have filled the position responsible for running the bait and switch on the rubes. The last such perp left the Discovery Institute right after she ran the bait and switch scam on the Utah rubes back in 2017, and her position is no longer listed on the Discovery Institute web site (at least it wasn't listed when West Virginia hit the fan). Luskin had to try to run a retroactive bait and switch by claiming that the Discovery Institute did not support teaching intelligent design in the public schools. The Discovery Institute actually removed their education policy from their web site that claimed that ID could be taught in the public schools, but they did not want it required to be taught. The West Virginia rubes were not requiring ID to be taught, they didn't even state that it was ID that they wanted a teacher to be able to teach their class about if that teacher wanted to. The education policy was only missing for a short period of time, likely because it was like closing the barn door after the cows had run off.
Now Oklahoma is trying to use the Bible as a public school textbook. Looks like the conservative Supreme Court is going to get a chance to show off. This could kill the ID scam and put the ID perps out of business. The ID-creationist scam is not needed if they don't have to call Biblical creationism something else in order to try to circumvent the law.
