 So it should probably be added to Chariots of the Gods, the
Calmagorod Papers and anything written about aquatic apes or
pyramidology on the "Light Reading for Whackos" list.

It's actually worth a read if you're interested in evolutionary theory. The first half is just history of science from a personal hatred of Darwin, but the second half is an attempt to come up with a theory of evolutionary process that's more predictive than natural selection. It's crazy, but in a way that could inspire thought.
