And Matt Gaetz for DOJ. As Steve Bannon had said before…flood the zone with
shit.

Gaetz is a child sex trafficker. I don't want to hear Republican voters whine about "protecting women" or "what about the CHILDREN?!" ever, EVER again.

Trump, whatever is other qualities may be, is a very shrewd politician. He recognizes that many of his followers are embarrassments to his administration. Appointing Gaetz gets him out of congress. The next step is an "arrangement" (contract, in effect), to deny his confirmation, and return him whence he came.

You're making the assumption that the senate is going to do their job. Trump can make recess appointments. It's then up to the various senate committees to hold confirmation hearings. There is no timeline for this in the constitution.
Don't be surprised when trump convinces the senate to take a recess so that he can appoint his cabinet picks, then take no confirmation action when they return. Think a republican senate won't abdicate their responsibility? I have two words for you: Merrick Garland.
You misunderstand me. I'm not making any assumptions. I try to pay no attention to whatever Trump says, just seeing what he does. This is my last response to anything labeled "politics" for reasons already stated.
