Did Ronald Reagan support the ID scam?

"Ronald Reagan's Argument for ID" is a Youtube video.  Reagan was president when scientific creationism lost out in the Supreme Court, and he had supported the creationist efforts.  The ID scam may have started when they made the name change in 1987 in the drafts of Of Pandas and People when they swapped out intelligent design for creationism, but Reagan likely did not know about the name change.  The book was not published until 1989.  There likely is no evidence that Reagan would have supported the dishonest ID creationist scam.
This seems to be an admission by the ID perps that the ID scam is just renaming the scientific creationist effort to get creationism taught in the public schools.
