ID perp claims about Christians embracing materialism

The creationist news site has an article in their faith and science category on Christians and materialism.  As sad as it may seem the "Stockholm syndrome" applies to creationists that still support the ID scam.  No matter how many times that creationists have had the bait and switch run on them by the ID perps they still comeback for more.  It doesn't matter how much abuse they are subjected to, they have to keep supporting the dishonest effort.
Christians that have accepted the utility of scientific materialism (not philosophical materialism) have have actually thrown off the chains of the creationist stockholm syndrome victims, and have accepted the best means to understand nature available to humans.  If Christians could not do this they would be restricted to accomplishing the nothing that the ID perps have accomplished in the last 30 years of the existence of the ID scam unit of the Discovery Institute.  Even creationist like Tour understands that scientific materialism is the only means we have of producing productive scientific discoveries.
The ID perps started off with the ID scam claiming that they could do the same science as everyone else and develop their intelligent design science.  That was never possible, and they quickly began a sour grapes campaign claiming that it was unfair that science could only deal with the material world, and work with what actually existed.  Science just can't make progress trying to study something that cannot be determined to exist.  Science can make observations of what can be detected in nature to infer things like gravity, but the ID perps have been unsuccessful in making any such observations about their designer.
In the 30 years of the existence of the ID scam how much new biological knowledge has been added to our scientific understanding of nature compared to the 100% failures of the efforts off all the ID perps and their supporters in their efforts to support the ID creationist bait and switch scam?
All that ID has ever been used for is as bait to attract the rubes and force the stupid obfuscation and denial switch scam onto them.  For nearly 23 years the ID scam has only been a bait and switch scam with the ID perps selling the science of ID, but whenever any creationists bite they only get the obfuscation and denial switch scam.  The fact that there are still rubes, like the West Virginia creationist rubes, falling for the scam is probably the epitome of the Stockholm Syndrome, because the bait and switch has gone down 100% of the time, on every single creationist rube that has wanted the ID science that has never existed.
