The creationist's salt accumulation in the oceans should likely be used to evalutate this claim. A lot of the minerals have concentrations in the oceans that would take less than a few hundred million years to accumulate to their current concentrations in the oceans. They reach an equilibrium point where they are being removed as fast as they are being put in. Some mining operations are still trying to figure out a way to harvest the manganese nodules from the sea floor that precipitate out of sea water.
