I can't recall I time in my life when the materials of
life haven't been falling from space.

The finding supports the theory
that near-Earth asteroids, like Bennu,
seeded life on Earth.
Not really.
If this were true then life should be spontaneously
forming all the time. After, find a dead cat. It's a
sack of organic molecules. Shouldn't it just up &
spawn new forms of life into existence?
AND IT'S NOT LIKE THIS STUFF HASN'T BEEN TESTED!
I mean, Sheesh!
It seems that every single conversation on abiogenesis
rests on the presumption that nobody ever got curious,
threw some of this muck into a breaker... maybe gave
it a shack or a *Zap* or even a freeze...
No. No, sorry, it's been done. And none of it ever once
produced life.
So, "Organic matter" from space?  Old news. Decades old.
Generations old. Attempts to get life to spew out of such
"Organic matter?" Also old. Also generations old at this
point.
So what's new?
What are they "Reporting" here? In what way are we more
"Informed" today than we were yesterday?
