There are plenty of crackpots at sci.physics.relativity, but in general you are right.
Did MarkE ever get around to saying what he meant by "mainstream Christian"? I haven't seen that he did, but maybe I missed it. Until he does I shall continue to think that in the context of Ireland the late Rev. Ian Paisley was more of a mainstram Christian in his mind than you are.
