Intending no disrespect, I'm sympathetic to anyone with gender dysphoria. It's probably a conclusion that you and others have reached only after some serious introspection.
Actually, there are four types of "Trans" that I know of, two of them
immutable and with little to no introspection.
There's what was called Gender Identity Disorder, or G.I.D., and it
starts at a VERY young age. Absent early intervention, it should be
considered immutable. Another type of "Trans" would be schizophrenics.
Growing up, I can't say I paid much attention to such issues but like
most people I was exposed to it in the media -- talk shows, printed
pieces. And I recall several sources talking about the lengthy process
of receiving a "Sex Change Operation," as it was popularly called. One
of the causes of the delay was screening for schizophrenia. No, not
because they hated them or anything, but because schizophrenics are
known to flip back & forth. Something as simple as a change in
medication could result in a change in gender identity. And then
there's the example of the "Intersexed" or what we used to call XXY.
You know that woman have two x chromosomes and a male has an x and a y.
So, yes, an "Intersexed" person (XXY) has the sex chromosomes of both
the male and the female. I don't know about today but certainly, not
too long ago, as a rule they never screened for this at birth. So a
child could be identified as one gender only to get older and identity
as the other. And this is without the complication of ambiguous
genitalia!
Did you know there are U.N. resolutions BANNING surgery to "Correct"
ambiguous genitalia? Because let's say a child is born with both a
penis and a vagina. And they decide that the child will be raised as
a girl and <snip> <snip> goes the penis. Good intentions but what if
that child grows up to identify as a boy? You can't just glue the
penis back on!
...of course the divisive narrative doesn't allow us to
acknowledge these things. Think about it: We can't medically
intervene in the case of ambiguous genitalia on children, it's way
to harmful, but you're a monster if you believe it wrong to
medically intervene in the case of a perfectly normal body?
In both cases, wait until they're adults...
There is one more type of "Trans" that I am aware of, and you can
do the Google on this if you want: Socially Acquired.
Yes, there are "Trans" people, "Trans" children whose identity is
socially acquired. Some associate this with autism -- children on
the autism spectrum -- and others associate it with homosexuality.
Meaning, they're gay and lesbian and somehow extrapolate that into
being "Trans." Ironically it's rather homophobic! "Men like
woman, I like woman so I'm a man!"
Again, do the Google.
The problem here is that, in the case of the socially acquired
group, being "Trans" is a choice. It's not like growing up with
G.I.D. or growing up gay or lesbian. It's not even like
schizophrenia, where the "Trans" identity can change but there is
no choice involved, no soul searching.
NOTE: The identity in schizophrenics can result in soul searching,
your introspection, but it never results from it. This is very
different from the "Socially Acquired" trans kids.
So, interesting but what does this tell us about human evolution?
Well it doesn't tell us HOW we evolved but it does tell us how
variable we are today. Schizophrenia has a genetic link, but it's
also linked to trauma... there was certainly "Trauma" a thousand
years ago, and 80 thousand years ago and even a million years ago.
So how did this impact us?
Of course, once civilization emerged I don't think it had much
impact. In a lot of cultures women never had much of a choice,
so regardless of their identity and sexual orientation they were
going to be baby factories. And if you can socially acquire a
"Trans" identity, what if you were socialized within a society
that valued producing children, particularly sons?
Yes, having sons is an import "Accomplishment" in many societies
even today, even in our enlightened times...
So, even if you were born gay or trans you were probably duty
bound to knock out some puppies....
I guess what I'm saying is sexual identity and attractions were
probably not much of a factor, at least not since the advent of
human SOCIETIES.
NOTE II: I am hesitant to use the word "Culture" because
WokeTardia has co opted it. It's even applied to animals today,
so "Culture" may have a lot of confusing and WrONG
connotations. But if you can focus exclusively on human
culture, and what it means to us, then it certainly existed
prior to the advent of civilization, and undoubtedly resulted
in behavioral pressures & identities as well.
