The SUPERNATURAL turns the NATURAL into the SUPER ?
"Supernatural," conventionally speaking, means that there is no
natural cause or explanation. I guess that, literally, it means
"Above" or "Beyond" the natural world. I guess that then leaves
to to answer the questions, "What is natural?" And it's not so
easy to answer.
If an observation lacks a natural explanation then it's a
candidate for the "Supernatural" (paranormal), but what you'd
really want is an observation that not only lacks a natural
explanation but contradicts the laws of nature (science). This
in itself wouldn't "Prove" the supernatural but it sure does
open some doors!
I find the subject fascinating because it separates the thinkers
from the fakers. The fakers are just going to auto-claim
anything, the thinkers LOVE not having answers, all the more so
if they should have them!
Remember Oumuamua?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CA%BBOumuamua
The fakers took one look and screamed "ALIENS!" or "NOT ALIENS!"
but the thinkers and said, "Wow!  It appears to accelerate
without any type of thrust?  Imagine what this could mean for
space exploration if we could figure this one out!"
See the difference?  For the thinkers it didn't matter WHAT
Oumuamua was -- rock or alien craft -- it was a mystery which,
if we solved, could mean a whole lot to us...
