Hello. Why not? When I was an early life form I was an astrophysicist, and I knew a number of scientists who were religious. Einstein remarked that the most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is comprehensible. Newton believed in God because he couldn't accept action at a distance, and that something was required to keep the planets moving in their orbits. (General relativity removed that problem, but the fact remains that they're a rules that make the universe what is is, excluding miracles, which almost all scientists reject. Even God has to obey His rules.) Whether you choose to call these rules "blind chance", God or The Great Turtle is up to you.
I'd very much welcome reader's views on this recent article:-
