Tour is only into the denial.  He only supports ID as bait.  He has already admitted that he understands that ID has been a scam from the very beginning of the name change from scientific creationism.  He outright claims that he does not know how to do any ID science, and denial is all that he has left.  He knows that the ID perps never had any ID science worth discussing, nor teaching in the public schools.
The chirality problem isn't anything that benefits Biblical creationism.   ID perps like Denton already understand that the designer that would have chosen the organic chemistry of life is not the god described in the Bible.
I have never believed that chirality has ever been an issue for biology, or my religious beliefs.  There is no reason to think that it ever was an issue for biological evolution.  Life uses L amino acids to make proteins, but they are only the proteins that were created after there was a genetic code.  The peptidase in ribosomal RNA chose L amino acids as the ones that it could join together into a polymer.  D amino acids do not work for that peptidase.  D sugars are usually used in the biochemistry of life, but so what.  The D forms are usually the most common form in solution, the same goes for L forms of amino acids.  This only means that there would have been selection involved in what initial enzymes were successful in using D sugars and L amino acids.  The original enzymes of life chose which chiral form of each molecule would be used.  Subsequent enzymes that evolved would have been selected to keep using the same chiral forms because if they used the other chiral form their products would not have been compatible with what already existed.
Denial and the origin of life gap will never support your Biblical belief.  If anything that gap can only be used to claim that the Biblical designer was not involved in filling that gap.  The Bible would have had to have gotten the creation story totally wrong in order to account for the origin of life gap.  That being obviously true, you would have to acknowledge that the Bible is wrong about the creation, so it doesn't matter how life arose on this planet in terms of your Biblical beliefs.  Denton could be correct and everything just unfolded after the Big Bang into what we have today.  His designer only had to set up the initial conditions that would produce the elements that our solar system was made up after over 8 billion years of stellar deaths so that all the elements needed for life would be available on the planet that formed out of that stellar debris.  Chirality isn't an issue for Denton, and it shouldn't be an issue for anyone.
You understand that, but for some stupid reason you did not abandon the dishonest ID scam like Kalk and Bill.  There is no ID science that you would ever want to be accomplished.  Science is just the study of nature and nature is not Biblical.  Any validated ID science would just be more science to deny for nearly all the Biblical creationists that supported the ID scam.
