RFK is making stupid decisons based on inaccurate and misleading data. Typical creationist science denial tactics.
You'd think that someone close to RFK would clue him in and keep him from believing quote miners and stupid people willing to mislead him on what studies actually concluded.
He fired the independent vaccine advisory group, apparently based on an 18 year old report that likely does not apply to the current advisors. He canceled the H5N1 mRNA vaccine program, and it was the only means we likely had of any type of rapid response to the D1.1 genotype starting the next pandemic. The D1.1 sequence was so divergent from the B3.13 dairy virus that they didn't even try current vaccine strains against it, and the stockpiled H5 vaccine is likely worthless against it. The D1.1 genotype killed one patient in Louisiana, another patient was in critical condition and on a respirator before recovering in Canada, and a third patient went into the ICU who was infected in Wyoming with the same D1.1 lineage that infected the Washington State poultry workers and the Nevada and Arizona dairies and Nevada dairy worker.
