VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (CNS) -- L.A. socialite Rebecca Grossman, who was
convicted for the death of two young brothers in a hit-and-run crash in
2020, was sentenced to 15 years to life Monday.

The Grossman Burn Foundation co-founder was also ordered to pay $47,000 in
restitution, an amount that was paid Monday morning.

Grossman was found guilty of second-degree murder, vehicular manslaughter
with gross negligence and one count of hit-and-run driving in February for
the Westlake Village crash that took the lives of Mark and Jacob Iskander,
aged 11 and 8.

The boys were crossing the street with their family in a marked crosswalk
when they were hit by Grossman's SUV.

Prosecutors wanted the maximum 34 years to life term for Grossman. Her
lawyers asked for probation.
