"Lev Tahor is an extremist Jewish sect founded by Shlomo Helbrans

These people was keeping families in shipping containers in the
forests/jungles of Brazil. They literally pushed suicide on to the
women, and donated there children to other families. They were not
running a "sex cult" but attempting to follow the Torah and
live in the exact way it was mentioned ( as they hide behind ).

Point being is the "sect" ( calling it that ), grew to many
people who wanted an actual ideal life. They are going to jail for the
following.

1. Assisted suicide.
2. transport of minors
3. Kidnapping ( the fact those children ( may be teenagers or adults )
was given to other families.
4. Other tactics.

Being an open and shut case, they would find the fastest means
possible to have these people locked up.

Human Trafficking ( the moving of people from one area to another ) is
extremely hard to ID, because many of the members are taking part in
the actual activity, and or have been raised to deem there way of life
as normal. These are educated people, they grow up in good homes. So
imagine a person who probably makes a six-figure salary, taking part
in this in some form or another, there families are all college
educated, and they have business names. You could be talking to
somebody right now, and they are just like you, and are taking part in
this activity in some form or another.

Now they put "Religion" into the mix. You get a bunch of
nutjobs working towards that goal.

A great example and the same could be said about "The Church of
Ladder-days Saint" ( mormons / Ladder-day Saints ).
They have multiple wives, and because USA does not tolerate this. They
have setup shop on the border of Mexico. Mexican authorities accept
them, and there cult, because they live clean and good, bring there
own policing. This way they evade authorities.
