https://www.dailymail.co.uk/yourmoney/consumer/article-14215017/major-insurance-company-drop-condo-policies-california.htmlMajor insurer Liberty Mutual is dropping all its condo
policies in California, it has announced.
The company, which is the fourth-largest home insurer in
the state, has told regulators that it will stop offering
new condo and renter policies next year.
Existing policyholders will then see their coverage axed
in 2026, according to filings with the California
Department of Insurance.
. . .
Build a wall on the border to keep the stench
of death away ......
The insurance market isn't what it used to be.
When everything seemed like we would have an
unlimited ever-wealthier future the numbers
worked out different. NOW however ... and
ESPECIALLY in Wokie-destroyed California.
Oh ... "The Big One" IS kinda past due now,
and then there's all the FIRES and insane
property-value inflation. Private insurers
just can't cope with the possible bill when
something bad happens.
You can still, kinda sorta, get insurance in
Florida despite hurricanes, but THAT state
is RISING while Cal's been run into the ditch.
