Snow White - Mixed Reviews

Yep - seriously "Woke".
BUT, on the other hand, if you don't LOOK for
the politics and Woke propaganda then viewers
say it's an OK movie.
The worry is that it's good, subtle, propaganda
intended to be sneaky, influence/corrupt without
anyone realizing that's happening.
LONG LONG ago, I saw a Disney entitled "Song of
The South" I think ... kinda loosely based on
the "Uncle Remus" stuff. Now I realize it WAS
that kind of sneaky propaganda - aimed at
'humanizing' the 'black' people, making them
all look like The Greatest. Now I'm not against
that viewpoint, except 'blacks' are Just People,
not 'greater' ... but I *do* realize the film
was a deliberate manipulation aimed at gullible
kiddies.
The bigger prob is that, to various degrees,
ALL films/books try to inculcate 'alternate
realities'. Sometimes there's politics there,
sometimes it's just accidental or for The Plot.
So, how the hell do you tell very deliberate
brainwashing stuff from 'incidental' examples ?
