https://medicalxpress.com/news/2025-07-ozempic-drug-significantly-frequency-chronic.htmlA new pilot study from Italian researcher Simone Braca and
his colleagues found that the class of drugs, called
glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists, reduced
the number of days with migraines by half.
. . .
Interesting. Apparently certain kinds of glucose
spikes are instrumental in triggering the nasty
headaches. Low doses of Ozempic-like drugs seem
to prevent these spikes.
Maybe not a fix for all sufferers, but they may
work for who they work for and for cheap with
minimal side effects.
Knew a woman who suffered chronic migraines.
Tried everything. ONE thing was a tryptamine
derivative. She was driving inter-city and
suddenly began to see 'pixies' on the hood
of her car .... NOT so great.
