How old is he again? 2000? 3000? How old was she? How can a relationship with such an age gap be appropriate?

 That would pretty much rule out any relationships for the Doctor, since female Time Lords are few and far between,

How would we know?? I mean the few times we have seen the High Council
of The Time Lords, I'm sure I saw some Females. The other 94 Female Time
Ladies might have been 'Off-World' or dealing with The Common Peoples,
maybe!! ;-P

unless you want him to have a bromance with the Master, which
doesn't bear thinking about.
