Why do some fans have to over-complicate everything?
 
Doctor Who as a television series over-writes itself as the show
evolves... so it is what it is! It's a bit like a person with
faults, you have to accept them as they are, warts and all.
 

Exactly. In a show that’s lasted as long as Doctor Who, there
are bound to be some eras that are more disappointing than
others. It’s only natural. If some people aren’t prepared to
accept something as obvious as that, there’s no hope for them!
