Didn’t the DWM comic strip do it first, with a fantasy scene where
the eighth Doctor is a human married to Grace Holloway?

Something like that, anyway.

Meanwhile, I’m left wondering what the bigenerated fourteenth
Doctor and the hotel-dwelling earlier version of the fifteenth were
doing during all of this. Wouldn’t their doubts be enough to
power the Ranis’ magic clock?

RTD expects us to get excited about characters from classic DW
but not even remember anything or anyone from the last couple
of years (except Poppy for some reason, even though we’re all
desperately trying to forget Space Babies ever happened!)
