Richard, to kindly ignore this most recent request from the Great Leader.
 I think we can all agree that this latest spate of posts from Mr. Olcott
has breathed much needed life into this largely dormant newsgroup, and
that most/all of the interesting posts in the last few weeks have been due
to Mr. Olcott.  We certainly wouldn't want to be forced to join some other
newsgroup (whose name escapes me at the moment) in order to continue to
watch this saga unfold.
 Now, would we???
 

If this is the Usenet experience you are looking for, simply subscribe to comp.theory, where it happens all day, every day, since 2004 or so.
And keep it on comp.theory so the people who don't want that experience aren't subjected to it.
