A rumor surfaced several days ago that Kurtzman had been fired from Star Trek by Paramount and Skydance. At the time none of us could confirm this rumor, which originated on a small website no one had ever heard of, discovered by Midnight's Edge, but now I have a mountain of rumors about what's happening behind the scenes at Paramount/Skydance in regards to Star Trek, and the alleged status of Alex Kurtzman. Get ready folks - there be a ton of rumors here! #startrek #paramountplus #paramountplus
https://youtu.be/_TxTCKKwXyk?si=VY0ezVgdZxb5Z_MT
He deserves to be fired, but I don't want him to be fired because he
screwed up Star Trek so badly it can't be saved and I don't want him to
hurt another property. He's in theory attached to Larry Niven RINGWORLD,
and if they deservedly kick him off Trek he'll actually have room to
spoil that.
Accpording to the rumor, whoever hired Kurtzman hated Star Trek and set
conditions that Kurtzman cannot be fired and it's cheaper to produce
additional seasons of trek shows than to cancel them.
I wouldn't believe that except I know for a fact there were equally
bizarre conditions surrounding Berman and Braga and their running
of the Star Trek franchise.
They seem to be morons running every franchise these days, many of them
destroying their franchises with Politically Correctness idiocy and
quota-filling. :-( Kathleen Kennedy with Star Wars
Kennedy also tried her best to ruin Indiana Jones, too.
She put a chick in it and made her gay.
Just be thankful that Indiana Jones was re-cast as a black woman with a missing arm ... I wouldn't be at all surprised if Kennedy actually suggested doing that.
Two other examples franchise ruining idiocy are
- the black Hermione in the Harry Potter stage show, and the awful
"diversity" garbage they're going to force into the TV show remake
of Harry Potter remains to be seen.
- the female Penguin villain in the new animated Batman.
