 Of course he gave her a chance. He watched her first episode just like over 10 million other people including myself. Giving someone a chance don't mean you have to support and believe in them from the very start. In fact it means the exact opposite, not supporting or believing in them but letting them try to persuade you otherwise.

When you watched the first 'DoctorDavid' episode, were you thinking "This is going to be the best thing since sliced bread" ..... or were you thinking "This could be all right, I'll give it a go and see what happens??"
