Gobble-de-gook gets his 'stats' from.

so 15 goes to 16! And once again giving us all an example of a
doctored (no pun intended) stats list that becomes even more
meaningless as it does not reflect the true stats of this group.

 No! No! No, Blueshirt, these Gobble-de-gook's 'Stats' post have a hugely important meaning .... to increase his All-Important Precious Post Count!!
 

Dave wants to prove Usenet isn't dying by showing everyone the stats,
then he edits people's posts out so the stats that he posts are
