 And it doesn't refute it because it's irrelevant. The number of blacks killed
by police is also "vanishingly small" compared to the total number of police
encounters. Does that mean we shouldn't give a shit about blacks killed by

comprehensive than a tearful teen learning some facts about "fairness".

 The fact she learned was that the adults in charge don't actually give a shit
about fairness when doing so gets in the way of a political agenda.

In nature, "fairness" is a myth foisted by "adults". The fact is that there's a continuum of testosterone-aided athletes, newly even more "continuous" thanks to recent medicine.  That continuum, afaik, has yet to be rationally addressed.  What the injured girl can perhaps claim here is that she was promised the protection of a different cutoff line.
