Xposts can be annoying, but copies (reposts?) spread over many groups
are even worse.

Marking Xposts as read in all groups is easier ("cheaper") than doing
this based on MessageIDs.  I really hate to see stuff I already threw
away in one group on other groups again and again as unread.
