en fait j'ai réussi à poster avec un content-type utf-8 en mettant
dans /etc/news/slrn.rc
set mime_charset "utf-8"

Fait, mais ça ne change visiblement pas grand'chose.

Il semble que certaines options puissent devenir obsolètes.
