nntp to rss

Is there a simple solution to have nntp articles sent to rss somehow? Doesn't even have to be the full article, just the notification that something new has been posted in a local group.
I wanted to have a small notification with maybe the author and the subject line to notify people that a new entry has been posted in one of the local or topic-related newsgroups.
