That won't work without modifying history (or waiting for the history
entries to expire and temporarily setting artcutoff high enough that
the messages are not rejected as "too old").

Apart from the some text and test groups, I do not expire articles.
artcutoff is 0. Again, Nobody seems to be able to answer the question
of how do I inject the articles back into the newsfeed.
