Windows 10? I've used Thunderbird over the years, but for the life of me I
can't find how to actually view the newsgroups after I configure a news
server account. I don't see the newsgroups icon on the left hand nav/tool
bar. Is there some special trick or other method you are supposed to use to
access this?
i tested t-bird/b-bird about three years ago and found them more complicated
than i could make use of (still preferring classic newsreaders 40tude dialog
for reading, and the very old free agent for posting) . . . recommend asking
t-bird questions in

news:alt.comp.os.windows-10 and
news:alt.comp.os.windows-11) i've subscribed
to for years, but every active newsgroup seems to be overrun (mostly, anyway)
with troll-bot twattle ... even so, usenet has survived three decades of the
pesky hobgoblins, and sometimes genuine (non-robot) contributors are helpful
